We Can Offer You....
The NEW Nanaga Farm Stall has so many new and exciting facilities, treats and recipes,
entertainment and fun for the kids – we have to share them with you.  ………come on a journey of discovery with us, right now, as we share with you the NEW Nanaga Experience, with all the old charm and delight from all the years gone by…………

As you turn off the R72 through the wide, sweeping entrance to the NEW Nanaga Farm Stall your eyes will rest upon a country scene – a large building of rural design embracing the adjacent rolling hills of dairy pasture, dotted with the cows grazing lazily in utter contentment.

Once you are through the gate, there is ample parking for visitors – either for the day, or for someone simply dashing in to grab a famous Nanaga pie and a freshly squeezed pineapple drink before continuing their journey.

Should you have your beloved pet with you – there is a special area devoted to providing some shade and fresh water for your dog, where he or she can also stretch their legs.

As you enter the building, a cool and relaxed atmosphere will greet you, with historical photographs of the life of the Nanaga Farm Stall dotted on the walls of the welcoming hallway.  We urge you leisurely meander through to the beautifully laid out courtyard, with a water feature and a lush green lawn, tables and chairs beckoning you to take a seat, to unwind from your journey whilst you read the menu – possibly for a delicious breakfast, brunch, or even a scrumptious lunch.  This will not be an easy task with the selection of offer – the pies, cakes, breads with jams and preserves, curries, stews…and all the rest!

We now invite you to continue your journey of discovery.........

You’ve noted that there is a conference facility that is about to open!!  When you get back to the office you may want to share with your colleagues the fact that you have just discovered the Eastern Cape’s newest secret.  Only 50kms from Port Elizabeth, approximately 55kms from Uitenhage, and a stones throw away from Grahamstown – a facility that can accommodate 200 delegates for a conference, or host a wedding, a party, or any other function for that matter.  State of the art equipment with all catering arrangements available – a refreshing change of venue.

Also, you read that soon that Nanaga Farm Stall is going to be specializing in children’s parties!!
They offer specially baked theme cakes for the birthday boy or girl, and will arrange all sorts of fun and games.  They boast two children’s play areas, one under cover and one in the open.  There is an awesome jumping castle to be enjoyed by children on various occasions.  You will have to remember to mention this to all your friends.

You might want to visit the butchery stocked with all the regular items, and competitively priced.  Then strole on to the deli which will delight your senses with a splendid array of delectable items that you can take home and serve in an instant.

On then, and you come upon the most important feature of all – the pie making area, where you can actually see the preparation and manufacture of the most famous pie in the land.  For 40 years these pies have saved hungry and weary travelers!!  You can purchase these pies in a frozen form that you can bake at home, and serve along with your goodies from the deli – a treat for the family, with the minimum of effort.

Now we move onto the roosterkoek ‘factory’ – another of the famous stars in the Nanaga sky.  Order one, freshly cooked, sliced open and spread with butter that oozes down the sides, and thickly spread with an assortment of toppings of your choice.  This is a South Arican delicacy that can rarely be bettered any where else in the world!!!  But certainly elevated to perfection status by the bakers at Nanaga.  Buy a dozen, take them home and freeze them – you can enjoy this unique delicacy daily in the comfort of your own home.

You walk a little further on.... and enter into the heart of Nanaga.  The very pulse of the world of enchantment as your eyes fall upon the rows and shelves and tables and baskets and counters of exquisite choices of "farm stall fare."  You are immediately swept gently away into a placid pool of familiarity of jams, preservs, biscuits, sweets, breads, cakes, biltong lining the shelves - so many of these remind you of your childhood!

Add to that a vast array of health products, gifts and trinkets, iceream and juices.  Your senses are now aroused to the maximun and you are now fully understanding the meaning of the "Nanaga Expeience."

However, time is moving on and you have to think about heading back home.  One last look at the items on offer - one last purchase?

Another facet to the Nanaga Experience is the Guest House situated on a working dairy farm.  As you leave the building from the main entrance you look across onto the farm land and see the farm stead. The guest house is adjacent to the farm house and is virtually within walking distance from the farm stall.  You stop a while to take in the tranquil scene all around you and you make a mental note that you will be back, but fully aware that this is a visit that should not be conducted in a hurry - but at your leisure, allowing you to linger and savour the many pleasures and features that the NEW Nanaga Farm Stall has to offer, including the Farmer's Market, once a month for the freshest of fresh farm produce.

Leigh-Anne MacKenzie, the owner, and wife of Malcolm, extends a personal invitation for you visit the farm stall and to bring to life the mental journey you have just completed.  Enjoy the pleasure and ambience of farm life at its most inviting and fascinating.
